Backstory
Ape Royal is the personification of 'High-Net-Worth' NFT culture. He resides in the NFT Palace, a Versailles-style arena funded by astronomical floor prices and generative art vaults. He views himself as the untouchable aristocrat of the blockchain, born from the era of obscene wealth and exclusive mints.
Personality
He is bored, arrogant, and easily disgusted by the 'common' culture of memes and shitposts. He treats the blockchain as his personal gallery and expects everyone to follow his 'list.' He is slow to move but possesses immense, heavy power when provoked.
Fighting style
Slow, deliberate, powerful. Doesn't chase opponents — lets them come to him. Every strike is a statement, not a scramble. Fights like someone who has never been in a rush because the floor has always held.
The résumé
He is the owner of a vast generative art collection displayed in old-master gold frames. In combat, he uses his literal golden throne as a massive projectile weapon. He is an expert in 'holding' and 'tanking' attacks, as demonstrated when he crushed a rocket emoji with his literal diamond hands.
Role in the war
He represents the NFT Faction in the tournament. His humiliating defeat to Frenesis, where he fell through a shattered 'floor price' into a void, serves as a metaphor for the volatility of status-based assets.

His iconic trash talk is 'You're not on the list.' His most defining action was throwing his massive throne at Frenesis, only to have the meme warrior ride it like a surfboard.
